Training
Dogs are individuals. If the dog cannot learn the way we teach, we must teach in a way the dog understands. Some dogs need help learning to use the bathroom outside, redirecting excessive barking, and coming when called. We teach in groups, some dogs learn better this way. We also teach one-on-one to help each dog succeed on their learning level.
Class room #1) is the training room. They learn basic skills to improve their manners and are introduced to physical activities to redirect playful, nervous, or impulsive energy. We modify activities for elder, injured, and timid dogs. Classroom #2) is outside. The dogs learn to socialize. Socializing teaches them to play nicely together. Play time sometimes gets chaotic, so we redirect the energy with climbing and jumping equipment and other fun, training games to keep the dogs engaged with the trainers.
Boarding School Program
We do all of the hard work for you! With the busy lives most families live, it’s hard to schedule time to train your dog, so we save you time and frustration. Your dog lives with us and the trainers work with your dog every day for three weeks, so your dog will be completely trained when you pick him/her up. We will send progress reports at the end of each week with pictures. We will also do a one on one lesson with you, your family, and your pup to guarantee your dog will consider you his/her leader, as he/she does the trainer.
In-Board Basic Obedience Program
This course is for basic control in and around the house. At the end of only three weeks, your dog will do the following on-leash: SIT, DOWN, STAY with distractions, COME, HEEL at your side and automatically sitting when you stop, PLACE, LEAVE IT, DROP IT, and OFF, to keep your dog from jumping on you, other people, or furniture. We also work on problem behaviors such as, house training, socialization, nipping, chewing, digging, walking through doors properly, greeting people politely, and any other unwanted behaviors. All commands are to be performed the first time they are given. Dogs aged 3 months and up.
The cost of this program is $1100. Half payment is due the day you drop off your pup for training and the balance is due upon completion of the program.
Each dog has different behaviors that need fine tuning, so we customize each program to fit our client’s needs. After the program is completed, we are here for FREE to help the remainder of your dog’s life. We have openings available immediately Monday-Friday 9 am- 4:30 pm.
