Event Details
This program is intended to cover training such as ordinary and specialized scent tracking or searching. This training covers areas such as Search and Rescue (SAR) – (human scent), dog scent and family search programs. This program will teach you the art, and your dog the skills required for scent tracking. A qualified dog will learn to search and find on command, and accurately alert. It also teaches the handler how to handle and command this new tool, and properly reward and reinforce behaviors. We meet at a different location each week.
Training evaluation is required. This type of training is very specialized and requires a dog that will test positive for this type of work.
